The Joneses are a family of educators. Mr. and Mrs. Jones are pictured here with daughter Sonya early in their careers when Mrs. Jones taught senior English at Shopville High School, Mr. Jones taught history and coached basketbal, and Sonya had a great time being the mascot to the Shopville High School Tiger cheerleaders. Students still remember classes they took with all three of the Joneses.

Mrs. Jones is shown above at Garner School where she taught early in her career, circa 1940s. She was named Teacher of the Year at Sears School where she began teaching.
